My family doesn’t look like your family is an Australian children’s book celebrating diverse families.

Written by Tenielle Stoltenkamp and illustrated by Go Suga, the book removes roles, race and gender, and instead uses counting and inclusive questions to encourage conversations about the things that make every family unique.

About the Book

Our aim is for every child to see their own family on the pages of this book and to know that - even though every family looks and does things differently - we all have a place we belong.
